Playing with Walker

Last night before supper (or was it after?) the 3 of us just sat in the kitchen floor for a few minutes and played together...Walker would walk around us and just giggle - he was so cute, but that's not a shocker to us at all!!

Craft Room Pics - what a beautiful thing!

As many of your know...we recently went through a basement remodel, and as part of that process, I have a new dedicated crafting (ie embroidery & scrapbooking) room - I LOVE IT!!! Just wanted to post a few pics so that you could see my new space!

This shows my bookcase with my 12x12 paper drawers on top - Brad has already checked it out and I can stack 2 more on top of these two if need be - can a girl really ever have too much paper?! You also get a partial shot of my closet storage.These are the bottom 2 of the 4 drawer stacks in my closet - so much great storage! Each unit has 3 large drawers & 4 small drawers. We found these at Wal-Mart & they fit perfectly!
This is an old computer desk that we weren't using any longer - I have my Purple Cow paper cutter sitting on top - it's great bc it rolls around the room, so I can roll it closer to my desk when I'm working. This is a great set-up for cropping! (Note the baby monitor on the window sill - that way I can work while my little bug is sleeping & not miss it when he wakes up!)This is my purple cow papertrimmer - 2 trimmers in 1.
Here is my worktable area - I have a shelf to hold my cricut cartridges & other various goodies. There's a rolling cart under the table for other assorted goodies.
A little closer shot. When Autumn (or anyone else) comes over to craft, the table also has a leaf, so we can pull it out and have even more space!

Thanks for taking my little tour - hopefully we'll get all my sewing goodies downstairs in the next week or so - that will fill up a now empty corner, but I think will continue to make it a very pleasant room to work in!

Fun at MiMi & Pop's

Last night we went to MiMi & Pop's for supper and to see cousin Lexa while her Mama is away. Just a few pics of all the fun the babies had!

Bathtime...working on my resolutions!

One of my resolutions this year is to spend more time just playing with Walker...it is so easy to get caught up in office & house work that I leave him to play in the background or try to work around him. My goal for this year is to manage my time more efficiently so that I feel like I have time everyday to stop and play. So far, we're off to a good start! This morning, I decided to run a bath in my tub and let him just play for awhile...he takes mostly showers with us, and oftentimes when in the tub, he stands up the whole time and doesn't much seem to enjoy it. This morning, however, almost immediately after putting him in, he sat down and started playing. Thanks to Courtney, Todd, David & Luke for Walker's bath buddies...he enjoyed playing with them tremendously!

He was very fascinated with the running water...you can almost see his mind trying to figure it all out!

This was one of his "twirl" moves, where he realized he could spin all the way around...so cute!

Precious Moments, Day by Day

We bought some extra storage containers at Wal-Mart this week to aid in cleaning up a bit...turned around and the little bug was having quite the time! ALL BOY...all boy...and we're loving every minute of it!!

I tried to post a few pics last night, but Blogger wasn't cooperating. Back in the saddle, again, this morning, and voila...hope you'll enjoy! By the way...while Autumn is sunning herself in Hawaii - we woke up to a light dusting of snow this morning. Not enough to really shut anything down, but snow, nonetheless! Yippee!!

I have tried repeatedly to get a good pic of Walker in front of the Christmas tree...first we broke the camera...then now that we have a new one, getting that boy to stay still long enough to snap a pic...Papa was tickling him trying to get him to smile, and I got a little trigger happy...oops!
